About the Role

Job Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Internal Audit Manager to join our team and collaborate closely with the Head of Internal Audit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conducting a diverse range of audits, including operational, financial, and IT audits.

Experience: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in Internal Audit within an international company, preferably in the manufacturing industry/FMCG sector.

Location: North Rhine-WestphaliaGermany

Team: You will be joining a team of two in the EMEA region, while the Head of Audit is currently based in Chicago.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate: From a personality perspective, we are looking for someone with excellent decision-making skills, self-initiative, assertiveness, and independence. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team is equally important.

Requirements: The successful candidate should ideally have prior professional experience in a Big4 environment. Additional experience as an Internal Auditor within a family-owned or international company is highly desirable.

Languages: Fluency in both German and English is essential.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally, primarily to European destinations. The travel schedule is designed to allow departure on a Monday and return on a Friday.

IT and ERP: Proficiency in SAP is crucial for this role, given its central importance.

Reporting: You will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

Qualifications: Having one of the following qualifications (CIA/ACCA/CISA) would be advantageous.
