Head of Audit Opportunity | EMEA Region

Description

We are currently working on an exclusive opportunity for you to become the next Head of Internal Audit for a leading, publicly listed multinational with responsibility being shared across the EMEA region as well as being part of a global leadership function within the group for 50% of your time.

Our client is a manufacturing company with a market capitalisation of over €20Billion. This position will report directly to the Chief Internal Auditor- Global; as well as having high levels of visibility within the group for audits across EMEA as well as on a global basis.

As Head of Internal Audit you will act for a business partner for internal audit in the EMEA region, you will also analyse data and practices to identify opportunities to improve the internal audit departments performance. You will lead a diverse team of 7 auditors focusing on the EMEA markets. As Head of Internal Audit will also be responsible for conducting global operational, financial and Sox audits.

Your profile:
*Ideally you will offer a minimum of 8-11 years of professional experience in a leading multinational combined with previous consulting experience in the Big 4.
* Prior managerial experience (including direct reports).
*Strong knowledge of Internal Audit practices and methodology.
* Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, and CFE.
* Fluent German and English required.
